Review of All Quiet on the Western Front (1930) by Ashley H — 06 Apr 2012
All Quiet on the Western Front is a poignant film. It is about a young soldier who faces profound disillusionment in the soul-destroying horror of World War I. Lew Ayres and Louis Wolheim give excellent performances.
The screenplay is well written and touching. Lewis Milestone did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the drama. All Quiet on the Western Front is a must see.
