Review of All Is Lost (2013) by Jason C — 18 May 2014
Quite an accomplishment to be able to give the viewer such feeling of despair and desperation with only one actor and a few lines of script. Robert Redford gives a gripping performance of a man lost at sea.
This is the type of film where the story is make or break on his performance, and he comes across convincingly. The film's ending is open to interpretation, and feels satisfactory in however one chooses to view it.
