Review of All Is Lost (2013) by Niki G — 28 Sep 2014
I wish that I had seen it in a theater, because it's a very quiet and slow film. At home, distractions abound, and every so often you lose focus on Redford's deliberate yet nuanced performance.
And that's all this is: redford with his craggy face and weathered hands vs. the sea and all of its powerful dangers. But it's absorbing if you let it be.
