Review of All Is Lost (2013) by Dawn F — 26 Dec 2014

This movie had some potential to be decent, but like so many movies, it was ruined by stupidity. The character just kept doing things that didn't fit, which set up the next oncoming predicament. To me, that's cheap writing to create what I call unnecessary drama (making characters do things that are totally out of character in an attempt to make the story more exciting).

Also, there were annoying details, such as how he was smack dab in the middle of the Indian ocean on a yacht with no pump. What? There were too many other things to list that were unbelievable, especially the ending.

Poor writing.
