I appreciate a good old depressing christmas-ish movie...but this really had nothing to offer. The comedy was a little off key, and the story really had no progression. It's hard to even give a s*** about any of the characters because they are all pretty annoying, and not very good people.
You can somewhat sympathize for the main character, but that's nothing new considering it is Paul Giamatti.
