Review of All I See Is You (2017) by Rebecca E — 27 Oct 2017
It was arrestingly beautiful and did not hit you over the head with a clear plot. Instead, it showed life and young marriage, power dynamics one doesn't choose, BDSM that one does, accusation, regret, humiliation, dependency, fear--and perhaps most of all what is at stake in huge life choices; but it did so without voice-over proselytizing and in its place the medium of sensual and visual experience.
If you were expecting something specific, as Gina says, you will be disappointed. It was tragic and human and very realistic--it felt like living something sad but real instead of watching other people do so.
