This movie is a mess. Knowing the events depicted are based on fact makes them no less incomprehensible or bizarre. Structurally truncated, inconsistently performed and devoid of any psychological context.
I'm not sure how this story could be told well, but I doubt it could be told worse. One good thing, though: The make-up artist deserves the Oscar.
