Review of All Good Things (2010) by Caleb M — 15 Jan 2011
All Good Things starts out solidly enough, but dissolves into a stodgy "inspired by fact" mystery without much of a mystery behind it. Gosling and Dunst are fine together, and they have a delightful few minutes of screen time as a young happy couple, but then the plot kicks in and everything happens without much fuss.
It's a shame, because there are some interesting turns in the plot, the film just doesn't let it's characters feel like anything more than actors re-enacting a true-life crime.
