Review of All Good Things (2010) by Joe B — 02 Apr 2011
It baffles me that this didn't have a higher profile release. I found this movie to be fascinating and involving. Inspired by actual events, it boasts strong performances from Gosling (as usual) and Dunst (a surprise).
It's efficiently made and moves fast. I'm not sure what the beef was with this movie and why it didn't do better. It's sharp little thriller that kept me glued to the screen. Make sure to watch the documentaries on the production and real life case AND listen to the commentary with the director and the man who inspired the character Gosling played.
Take a chance on this one!
