Review of All Good Things (2010) by Lori B — 23 Jan 2012
On paper, it has all the right elements for a great true-crime drama: A-List cast, sensational story complete with a guy hiding out dressed as a woman, an excellent cinematographer. But the pieces just don't add up.
The acting is good, but director Andrew Jarecki doesn't quite manage to bring out Gosling's best work. He's solid here, but not memorable. And the script is just not good.
