Starts off well but once the filmakers start to fill in the gaps it all falls a bit flat. Obviously with the case still being open, it must be hard for the filmakers to put their spin on things but if you're gonna make a decent thriller then you need to take some risks and I'm afraid Jarecki's film just deliver on this front.

Cracking performances though, especially from Langella and maybe with the publicity from this film the truth of what really happened to Kathie Durst will finally come out.
