Review of All Good Things (2010) by Parker M — 13 Mar 2011
Although so many people are recommending this movie but I'm not so interested. The story was too dark and flat, very boring. Eventhough I must be admitted, Ryan Gosling's and Kirsten Dunst's acting really good. They brought chemistry into their characters, its believable.
It's just very tiring and depressing to watch this movie from beginning till the end.
The plot also really weird, David Marks, who's in the early half of the movie looks like a normal person, had suddenly turned into a psychopath in the second half of the story without any logical explanation or background stories that bridge the gap about the change of the character. As if there's a hole in the story, and I feel like what? wait...wait, what happen with that nice David Marks in the earlier?
Btw, is that possible that the wife, Katie, disappeared for several years without a trace but the husband can walk freely and not being arrested? Obviously he killed his wife, with that psychopath behaviour why won't he?? Creepy!
