Review of All Good Things (2010) by Steve S — 02 Apr 2011
*** (out of four).
I must admit I can be a sucker for a true crime story. And this one is full of strange twists. The best part is that it VERY true to the real story.
Ryan gosling stars as a young man from a wealthy New York family in the 1970's. He falls for and marries the girl of his dreams, played by Kirsten Dunst. Her disappearance a few years later puts him as a prime suspect.
Though not a home run, at times the film is too conventional, nevertheless, the story is interesting an may prompt you to seek out more on the true events.
