Review of All Good Things (2010) by Steven C — 29 Apr 2011
This film, based on a true story, was pretty solid, but it jumped time pretty fast and you didn't get to the characters too well early on. The first 45 minutes is a lot of romance, but it soon turns to a murder mystery and actually gets pretty weird which I didn't see coming.
Ryan Gosling does a great job in this average film; Kirsten Dunst is also pretty good in this too. The make-up and the look of the film (it takes place in the 1970s mostly) are top-notch and add a little to the film.
Overall this true murder mystery is pretty interesting, but I didn't like it that much.
