Review of All Good Things (2010) by Connor _ — 12 Aug 2011
This seemed like it had a great set-up, it had everything going for it: excellent cast including personal favorites Ryan Gosling and Kirsten Dunst, a great true story plot, a seemingly trustworthy director, etc.
But it turns out to be a dull, self-intending, self-necessary biopic about a sociopath that cant quite decide if its a drama or a thriller. Dunst manages, but Gosling is hollow, as is the screenplay. The film starts and then, before you know it, it ends while we're still waiting for it to hike up.
B-.
