Review of All Good Things (2010) by Drew P — 11 Jul 2011
I"m a huge fan of Ryan Gossling so there is the main reason I chose to watch this movie. Based on a True Story, that is also a reason why it might be interesting. But unless you are a very very sharp director, DO NOT attempt to tell a story that covers 30 years in a timeline! I'm sure Gossling read the script and loved the develpment in his character, but man does this movie fall short in many other ways.
It was great seeing Kirsten Dunst again, but... Pacing was off, too many holes in a "who dunnit" plot, directing was sub-par, etc! I watched till the end to see what happens (i'm not familiar with this story), but all I got was a hand full of wrinkles! If you like a hand full of wrinkles, then watch "All Good Things".
. nothing to go home and brag to mommy about...
