Review of All Eyez on Me (2017) by Devaughn B — 15 Jun 2017

Decent film, fairly good biopic so I do not understand SO MUCH of the criticisms it is getting. People are saying this biopic is useless. It was released on what would have been Pac's birthday. Near-perfect performances across the board - really impressive. I hope everyone gets out and supports this weekend. And I sincerely hope it knocks Cars 3 off the road completely (pun intended). I understand it isn't accurate though (which was a fear of mine going in), considering the rant Jada Pinkett went on, on Twitter. Yikes.

Again I just have to say kudos to Cinemark for having the best sound system around. The experience would not have been the same without it, all of the music and live performances, the way they were shot, just flawless. Great directing and writing. The film does not run away from the harder topics/moments in his life. There are many editing decisions I did find jarring and they would tend to take me out of the film, unfortunately.
