Review of All Eyez on Me (2017) by Daniela L — 17 Jun 2017
140 running minutes of a corny approach, rags-to-riches clichés and minuscule passion from the director. For some reason, it attempts to sanctify Tupac and make him into something he never attempted to be.
I was expecting a more fair depiction of a man who was far more interesting than he was perfect. It's a mix of a tacky gangster movie and a soap opera. The Black Panther raised, rap prophet deserved better.
