Review of All Eyez on Me (2017) by Zariah W — 14 Jul 2017

Tupac Shakur's life and death have a lot to teach us, but unfortunately I don't think this film does it. The story is worth telling, but, with the exception of the lead actor and the actresses playing the supporting roles of the women in his life, the move tends to drag out.

I think fans of Tupac will be happy with the film, but the plodding telling of the backstory combined with mediocre acting will limit this film's ability to take its message to a broader audience.
