Review of All Eyez on Me (2017) by Monique D — 24 Jun 2017

I am not sure why this film has not received better reviews. I absolutely loved it. It was raw and organic and it depicted the core essence of who Tupac Amaru Shakur was by allowing the audience to see where his foundation of strength came from.

He was truly a larger than life icon. All Eyez On Me delivered the most important elements of who Tupac was as a person first and how he became one of the most revered Hip Hop artists of all time. I applaud the approach of humaness this film took.

People need to know who Tupac really was. I applaud this film and the respectful way it shed light on the beautiful black boy who grew up to become a poet, a thespian, an activist and a voice that commanded audiences around the world to recognize the power of a lyrical genius.
