Review of All Eyez on Me (2017) by Noah P — 24 Jun 2017

Though I did not LOVE this movie, I didn't hate it either. Shipp Jr does a great job portraying Tupac but the issue here is how little the movie explores the many issues of the artists life as it really only skims over each little factoid of the rapper.

It feels as if the movie was made based on a checklist and each 5-15 minute scene is simply checking off that checklist of the artist. Having a two and a half hour run time the movie definitely begins to drag and when we finally get to the last 20 minutes of the movie we see a bunch of cheesy slow mo shots and music video esc filters which ultimately end with.

...well you guessed it, him getting shot. I payed $6 for this movie and that's about all it's worth to pay.
