The change of voice actor for Charlie was distracting, and it kept me from enjoying the parts of the movie that were good. I didn't like the young boy. He was a poor replacement for Judith Barsi's character Anne Marie.
I didn't believe the romance between Charlie and the female dog. The only thing about the movie I liked was when Satan took control of heaven. That scene was chilling and fun. The song sung between Charlie and the female dog was a pretty well put together song, but one good song and a cool villain don't save this movie.
