I guess whether your dog is good or bad they still end up in the same place in the end. When I saw this, I had immediate flashbacks of childhood memories from watching this film. My brother and I have a VHS version of it when we were younger that we watched over and over again. I love this movie especially cause I grew up having dogs and it just made it all the more memorable. So let me tell you why I believe it still holds the test of time for kid movies.

Everyone had great parts with their voice acting roles, especially Don Bluth and Burt Reynolds. Those guys certainly know how play a part. I also enjoyed It's story telling and how anyone can be given a second chance no matter how big of an asshole they are. But what really got to me was at the end where I pretty much bawled my eyes out seeing how much emotional depth it puts into this film. It's a great animated classic in its own right and it teaches kids a great deal of life and death lessons. I'm also glad they didn't rape this movie by making a remake of this childhood classic. I can't think of giving this movie anything less than 5 out of 5 stars.
