Review of All Cheerleaders Die (2013) by David T — 05 Jul 2014
The "witch" thing was cliche, and the ending was somewhat anticlimactic, but I really enjoyed this, anyway. I liked how subversively queer this movie was (three of the five main ladies were not straight, and this wasn't used to titillate the male characters or the audience -- their sexuality actually helped drive the plot), and I liked how Maddy's attitude toward her fellow cheerleaders shifted from antagonistic to familial over the course of the film.
