For this viewer, ALL ABOUT EVE is THE most ENJOYABLE film ever made. The sreenplay is without a doubt the wittiest screenplay ever put down on paper. With the cast having the time of their life!This is Bette Davis' best performance and that's saying something considering her incredible body of work.
The entire cast is perfection.... Although the GREAT Thelma Ritter,as usual,threatens to steal the picture. Written and directed by Joseph L. Mankiewicz.
