What a great catty movie!!! The women rule here! Possibly the best cast movie of that time...And the script! If you like razor sharp dialogue---this is the film!
Even perfectionist Bette Davis (known for marking up secondrate scripts) didn't want to mess with this Mankiewicz gem.
(The only sad note - Per the commentary on myDVD, the woman who authored the short story origin---got little cash for her first version of this great tale!).
