Review of All About Eve (1950) by Sara S — 19 Jul 2009
One of my favorites. Bette Davis, albeit selfish, melodramatic, and egotistical, delivers a surprisingly likable and entertaining character. The surprise of the film is how well poor little Eve fools everyone, even the audience.
If you've ever been involved in theater, you're sure to have known many Eves in your lifetime and that's why her character is completely believable.
