Indeed the crowning acheivment of Bette Davis's career. Her career was beginning to fade until she threw out this gem. One of the few movies where you are completly suppirsed by the ending and the middle and the beginning.
Its a powerful film that portrays vicious, cynical, manipulative, and sly personalities. A wonderfuly dark depiction of show buissness and ambition.
