For serious movie lovers this movie is one of the best I have ever seen. It is just that good. Bette Davis shines in a role that she makes her own. The storyline is interesting and there is not a bad word I can say about it.

I first watched it many years ago and again a few weeks ago. I now own the DVD and enjoy watching it every few months. A point of interest is that this movie was the break through film for Marilyn Munroe.

She sparkles in her small but thoroughly enjoyable role. There is a book that can be purchased that details everything about the movie including the fact the Ms Davis was indeed having a relationship with her on screen partner.

This is a gem. I have not mentioned anything about the storyline on purpose because it is a joy to watch it unfold in front of your eyes. Do yourself a favour and catch it.
