Review of All About Eve (1950) by Mike H — 13 Aug 2012
Some of the best dialogue ever penned is featured in Joseph L. Mankiewicz's tale of back-stabbing on Broadway, in which Bette Davis gives the performance of her career. It's unthinkable that anyone else was ever considered for the role, but Davis got it because Claudette Colbert pulled out unexpectedly.
A sensational piece of entertainment.
