Review of All About Eve (1950) by Andrew R — 09 Sep 2012
All About Eve is a smart, well acted bitchy-backstage story that is truly magnificent and Bette Davis is amazing. Out of all of Bette Davis's many wonderful films, is All About Eve worthy to be the best Bette Davis film? Arguably, yes.
Spectacular performances all round from Anne Baxter, Celeste Holm and the first film role from Marilyn Monroe that would at least look like a cameo role, All About Eve is a wonderfully bitch-feast which many Hollywood insiders should enjoy.
