Review of Alita: Battle Angel (2019) by Roguenihilist — 09 Mar 2019
Here's the point where you know that the critics were paid off to give Alita a poor review and then give a terrible movie like Captain Marvel a great review. I liked Alita. It did what Wonder Woman did and gave us a strong female character that we could rally behind and truly have and emotional connection with. All this done without forcing agendas (Captain Misandry). The story was actually good. You could follow what was going on and no, you don't need to read the manga to understand things as was stated by the shill critics. The acting is superb with maybe one exception, but it's a small exception. The animation was also very well done but that is to be expected from a James Cameron movie. The battle scenes were overthetop but done extremely well. Total eye-candy.
Really, not a lot bad to say about it. Totally worth a watch and maybe a second one. Also props to the team for their work with prosthetics for kids.
