Review of Alita: Battle Angel (2019) by Bnathan — 15 Feb 2019

I don't know if the Critics just have tall poppy syndrome and want this to fail but this movie is VERY good. No not perfect but its got everything you want from a action adventure love story. A lot of the reviews said there was too much packed into one movie and yes there was but in no way was it a mess, if a critic cant follow this story then they are just simple themselves and how do they have their jobs.

I was expecting the roller ball bits too be too long and to make the movie drag but they are kept short and fit the story perfectly. A simple sum up of Alita.... AMAZING VISUAL and 3D, an action story with enough meat to it that you had to think a little (not War and Piece but not Mighty Morphing Power Rangers either), acting was good all around, good villains and characters.

The only downside I really saw was the ended for me felt like a "hey lets end it here and hope we get to do a 2nd one" and had no real closure or finality. Don't listen to the critics do yourself a favour and go see this movie.
