This was a huge disappointment. I went in at least expecting military versus aliens, but I got a generic story of a bunch of teens caught in the middle of a slasher flick. This movie does a huge disservice to the the Aliens movies, Predator movies, and Alien vs Predator comics.
If you go into this expecting nothing more than gratuitous gore, you'll be as pleased as you can be, but this film doesn't come close to touching Aliens 2 or Predator. The Giger factor alone can't save this movie from awful pacing, laughable acting, predictable script and badly shot battles.
This movie may well kill both franchises.
