Review of Aliens in the Attic (2009) by Jordan V — 13 Jul 2012
Not as atrocious as I expected, but really not that great either. Perfect for kids! The visuals for the aliens are alright, but I actually found myself muttering "cool" at some of the alien tech.
A small ball that expands with small spines to suck the gravity out of a room? Pretty awesome. Pretty much any effect not directly involving the aliens work great. I laughed a few times more than I expected, but overall it's jokes for 10 year olds.
The story's paper thin and the dialogue even more transparent than that. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way for this one, but if you find yourself stuck in front of it, you won't hate yourself too much afterwords.
