Review of Aliens (1986) by Darkbloodshed13 — 17 Jul 2015
This one of those few times I get to say that the sequel is better than the original. This mainly do to the difference in the directing by James Cameron and Ridly Scott. Cameron fast pace style gives Aliens the horror feel that it needs.
While Scott's style is more slow, which is fine for sci-fi but for a horror it just does not fit. Of course if you prefer to look at Alien as a sci-fi than the first movie is for you. In conclusion these movies will vary depending on what you are looking for If you want horror then go with the second one but if you are looking for sci-fi watch the first.
