Review of Aliens (1986) by Ezras H — 23 Mar 2013
I'm gonna say it right now. This is James Cameron's weakest film of those that I've seen. The thing is, is that a bad thing? Terminator 1 and 2 and Avatar are all perfect films. Aliens may not be perfect, but it sure is an excellent film.
The acting is superb, the storyline is interesting, the action is fast paced, and it has that re-watchable value. The problem with Aliens (which is rather a nitpick) is that it's just a little too slow for my taste.
There were sme scenes that kinda dragged the movie out (including one action sequence). I really love this film a ton, but it's not perfect. Overall, I give Aliens a 4 and 1/2 out of 5 (**** 1/2).
