Review of Aliens (1986) by Matthew F. J — 12 Aug 2015
Having the chance to watch this film in theater last night, I realised how amazingly well executed and kick ass this film is some 30 years after it's original release. Perfectly shot with awesome cinematography and non stop action, this film is probably James Cameron most accomplished action film.
Mixing horror with action, this second installment is a glorious chapter in the long lasting quality franchise Aliens. The storyline is well written and the pace of the film can only be praised. The score adds an interesting dimension to the film and the cast is beyond perfect.
Special mention to S. Weaver and J. Goldstein for being the two most kick ass female leads I have ever seen on screen. A very strong movie and a lesson on how to make the perfect action flick. Young directors up and coming.
