Review of Alien³ (1992) by Garda D — 22 Feb 2014
I heard that there will be a marathon of 4 Alien movies on TV, I never knew what movie is that so I decided to give it a watch. One word: FANTASTIC. It tells about a crew of a spaceship who found a signal on some planet filled with weird pods or eggs when suddenly a facehugger from the eggs cling into one of the crew's face and that's when the horror started. It starts a bit slow but when it gets to the main problem. Wow, it became really suspense and thrilling, as the movie goes on it gets more thrilling with mysterious disappearance of the crew and the alien lurking around in the ship with no-one knows when it will appears. The special effects were totally great for 1979 movie in fact, it still has a better special effect than some movies these days and what I found is amazing is the sets, the budget of 11 million dollar and it creates a really beautiful and detailed sets, awesome!
The best horror sci-fi I've ever watched and probably the best horror sci-fi ever! Thrilling, scary alien design, amazing special effects and mostly, look at all those sets! IMPORTANT NOTE FOR HOLLYWOOD: Please, don't remake this.Ever.
