Review of Alien³ (1992) by Demolisher7778 — 13 Oct 2014
Alien 3 is a sequel to Aliens directed by David Fincher. This movie starts off as a major WTF moment because it shows that the Queen from Aliens has laid an egg on board the ship that Ripley, Hicks, and Newt are hypersleeping in.
The egg proceeds to open and a facehugger attaches itself to Ripley. The rest of the movie is Ripley trying to survive in a prison while trying to escape an alien which spawned out of a dog. The good things about this movie is that it has mixed feelings from Alien and Aliens, it has pretty good acting, and the Alien is extremely creepy.
The bad things are that the Alien CGI is bad, the story is below average, and it has a crappy ending (Ripley dies) and it left me wanting more. Overall, Alien 3 is a mediocre film and sort of a dissapointment because of the bar set by the first two films.
