Review of Alien Trespass (2009) by Mel Z — 11 Aug 2010
Pretty lame throwback to the sci-fi flicks of the '50s, but it's midly entertaining. It's nothing new or original, but perhaps that's the point. Almost, while this should be completely tongue-in-cheek and very campy, it's really not, for the most part.
It takes itself far too seriously for a movie of this type. There are some parts where they just up the camp and role with it, but then the next minute they're doing the complete opposite. Could have been a lot better, if only they knew what they wanted to do with it and stuck to it.
But a one-eyed disappearing alien creature is always good.
