Review of Alien Resurrection (1997) by Kim B — 21 Oct 2011
Someone had told me this film was good. In reality, the only good part was Weaver's acting, the visuals, and the ending with the baby alien dying pitifully. I usually like Winona, but thought she was miscast horribly and didn't do a good job.
The scripting and directing was bad, as well as a lot of the acting. It was pretty predictable, corny, and boring, it repeats the original plots a lot. The part explaining Ryder as a second generation robot was confusing.
The first two are much better and I'm not going to bother watching the third, which I heard was awful.
