So many elements that later found a home in Firefly are wedged in here. Much of the original script from Whedon is here, just not in the way intended. A non-French director wouldn't have tried to turn this into a dark comedy, wouldn't have pacified the Call character, wouldn't have changed the ending, and would have told Weaver that clone does not equal robot.
