Review of Alien Resurrection (1997) by Geoff T — 02 May 2012

You know after watching this I am still trying to figure out why exactly we had to resurrect this series. Looking back at this movie now, I am still confused about what exactly I watched. I mean I look at the good job that Sigourney does like always and I am confused about why this movie seemed so haphazard.

But this is going to be a short review, no spoilers.

I've got to say, the basic theme that is presented in the Alien series is really fun, it's fresh, and it never truly feels old. I was upset with the lack of true direction, good conversation, and emotional development in this movie. But then again what can you expect from the Alien series. *Sigh*.

If you are not a fan of scares, of gore, or of excessive unnecessary cursing lol..

But it's an enjoy ride, even if only once.
