Review of Alien Nation (1988) by Kyle K — 20 May 2009
Now this is what I call a great thriller, Alien Nation works as both a cop movie and as a sci-fi. James Caan and Mandy Pitinkin star as a cop and an alien detective who team up after the murder of Caan's partner and discover there is more to the incident than first percieved.
This 1988 film directed by Omen III director Graham Baker is a well thoughtout and exciting thriller with fine chemistry by the two leads. The buddy-cop formula is nearly at top form with great comedic scenes and the action works a treat.
8/10.
