Review of Alien Nation (1988) by Matthew M — 22 May 2010
A film that closely resembles some of the plot elements of district 9. I really like this film because it takes a simple cop drama of a partner dieing and twists it with the alien race. I remember seeing some of this as a kid and finally I got around to watching the whole thing as an adult.
Overall, James Caan is great and the new alien detective plays his part really well.
