Review of Alien Nation (1988) by Steven L — 08 Jan 2008
Alien Nation hide the bigger issue that was layed out in the late 1980s, the race issue. Accepting the differences of another race is hard to do for James Caan's character, but as he learns that they are nearly not as different as himself - he becomes accustomed to them, well almost.
This cyber-punk alien film has its fimilarities with Robocop 2 with the drugs. It can drive anybody, or anything, to the edge of corruption and death.
