Such much potential for an entire franchise ruined. Are we to believe that this crew is this incompetent and idiotic? The most unrealistic thing about the movie wasn't the premise or the technology, but how easy it was for this ridiculous and contrived plot to unfold.

A crew exploring an alien planet with no safeguards? An "upgraded" android being beaten by an old model after explicitly stating that there had been upgrades? No caution taken by the most infuriating "captain" after seeing all that he had with David? He poked his head above what is obviously a shell for a hostile creature.

This film has single handedly undone everything that "Prometheus" began.
