Review of Alien: Covenant (2017) by Guillermo M — 13 Aug 2017
I'm still questioning, in what moment the "Alien" series move from a horror-bloody saga to a conspiracy of the creation of the humans? The movie never finds it's way, and despite have a lot of great horror scenes and a perfect performances (mostly Michael Fassbender), the movie never feels as a Ridley Scott original story.
A great inclusion to the sci-fi genre as an independent movie, but disappointing as an installment to the once-great (and still one of the best of the genre) Ridley Scott's series.
