Review of Alien: Covenant (2017) by Bfoore90 — 19 May 2017

A mediocre film, receiving unnecessary praise for its mediocrity. It's better than Prometheus but that's not saying much. Acting was top notch especially from Fassbender, Waterson and McBride and there was some really nice shots and moments but I just thought the plot was mediocre and the ending was predictable.

It felt more like an alien movie which is good but I just feel like the execution should have been better. Character motivations (especially David's) were unclear and offered little to no explanation to why things are happening the way they are.
